Individualised Learning and Teaching using AusIDentities is just one of the applications of the program.
Originally developed to assist students find direction and improve self-awareness, AusIDentities helps Teachers and support staff to understand four very different approaches to work, life and learning. While many excellent models are available to support personality theory, we felt we needed something to capture the imagination of our youth while at the same time involve the adults, in a colourful, inviting and relevant way.
AusIDentities uses a system that is based upon four Ancient Temperaments which were re-introduced into modern-day public awareness by American Psychologist Dr. David Keirsey. These Temperaments are linked to the characteristics of four well-known Australian Animals; the Eagle, the Dolphin, the Kangaroo and the Wombat. People of all ages and from all walks of life are able to develop greater understanding the different needs and approaches, to both life and learning, of others.
These interactive workshops are aimed at giving participants a working knowledge of the different types and a better understanding of themselves, along with new strategies to apply in their school or place of work. The cost of admission includes your notes, a certificate of attendance and a complimentary book to take away with you. Morning tea and a light lunch are also provided.
Great for managers, principals, teachers, coaches, guidance officers, youth workers, chaplains and counsellors, and for anyone working in HR. If you are from a school or an organisation and would prefer to be invoiced for the cost of the training, please contact us HERE. We will be in touch to confirm your place, along with your preferred venue, once a booking request is received.
