Kangaroos are usually playful, friendly and fun, and seem to thrive on movement and variety. They learn best through direct, personal experience - the more realistic and interactive it can be made, the better. Just like their animal namesake, they can have a tendency to 'leap before they look', a quality that occasionally gets them into trouble, but also makes them a lot of fun to be around.

Easily bored or disinterested by school or routine, Kangaroos have an acute dislike of too many rules and regulations, or being made to stay still for long periods. This restlessness can sometimes see them mislabelled as hyperactive or even disruptive - names that are not only misleading, but can give them a title to live up to. Usually more interested in starting projects than finishing them, given greater flexibility they can become extremely creative as well as more responsible. Depending on the task, others may see them as either the most difficult or the most resourceful of the types.

On a project, Kangaroos prefer others not to interfere unless they have a good idea or something of value to add - and if possible, they like to be physically involved in what they're doing, whether making or building. They show their excitement rather than keeping it to themselves, and the more extroverted Kangaroos in particular enjoy a live audience. They benefit from greater freedom, both physical and emotional, with room for negotiation and individual expression; without it, there's every chance they'll become unruly or rebellious.
